Mini Review: Packed Turned by Alex Anders

Packed: Turned

20,000 words

* This romantic, new adult adventure contains graphic descriptions of sex written to create extreme arousal in the reader.

What if suddenly every hot guy wanted you? The curvy, eternally-awkward wallflower, Sakina Lightbourn, knows exactly what that’s like. Picked on, or even worse, flat-out ignored by every member of the opposite sex since puberty, she’s dragged across the globe to a new school in the hauntingly beautifully Bahamas.

Her first day was no paradise, though. Accused of stealing some sort of werewolf medallion, bullied, and then getting into a fight with her mom, things couldn’t have gone worse. But then she meets Dax, the super sexy boy from her class who has more than just animal magnetism. One mysterious night with him and everything changes. Now she’s strong, confident and every hot guy wants her.

But, was it a good idea to attract the attention of the dark, bruting Lane Lafleur? Sure, he’s gorgeous and built like a Greek god, but he’s as hot as he is dangerous. And when he pulls up to her house one full-moon demanding that she go with him, she isn’t prepared for where he would take her, or who she would become. (Goodreads)

Mini Review
~ 1 Star ~

Packed: Turned is a short story that leaves you with a cliff hanger ending. You have to buy the next book to learn what happens. It's high school drama and teen wolf hormones. Immature girl suddenly becomes wanted by good looking guy at school. Didn't flow well. It's a whole lot of nothing. Needs good editing. Jumped around too much from thought to thought.

I was not impressed and will not be reading anymore. I received this free from amazon.

  1. Oh that's disappointing. I really don't care for those cliffy shorts.

    1. Ya It was not what I was expecting. I'm not a cliff hanger and I'm not a big YA with adult content. High School gets on my nervous.

I love all things Shifter! It's always so hard to choose a favorite, but Jaguars are amazing! Jaguars are the largest of South America's big cats. These beautiful and powerful beasts were prominent in ancient Native American cultures. In some traditions the Jaguar God of the Night was the formidable lord of the underworld.

Terry Spearis one of many authors that writes about shifters. She is also one of my favorites! This month she released Silence of the Wolf "Heart of the Wolf" #13 another great shifter series. Check out my review HERE!

Critical Intelligence had some funny moments to I really enjoyed.  My favorite is the first quote the moment someone learns they are going to be a daddy I had to smile it reminded me of the day our son was born and how my hubby cried and passed out after he was born. ^_^  Check out my review here!

" Nothing is wrong." Green smiled. "Well, not unless you consider being a father a bad thing."      "Being a father?"       "I'm going to be a ..." Darkness swallowed him whole as he passed out cold. ~ Critical Intelligence by Mandy M…
