Review: Wolf with Benefits (Pride, #8) by Shelly Laurenston

Wolf With Benefits
Parnormal Romance - Shapeshifters - Urban Fantasy
Ricky Lee has no plans of getting serious about anyone, but he will protect Toni Jean-Louis Parker. Not just because he’s been hired to do so, but because it’s the right thing to do. And if that means traveling around the country with one complicated She-jackal, dealing with chocolate-eating wild dogs, instigating trouble between his brothers, and having the most amazing sex he’s ever had…well, who said his job didn’t have perks?

Toni doesn’t know how she keeps getting herself into these situations. But even she has to admit there’s something about Ricky Lee Reed that she finds kind of interesting…and downright sexy. Now they just have to survive long enough to figure out if what they have is worth fighting for.

* 5 Wolf Stars *

"Wolf With Benefits" pulls you in. I could not put this book down. I love the Pride series by Shelly Laurenston. This book is non stop hilarious. I just loved the first line "Are you my daddy?" It's also a fun light hearted romance. The story, while giving us new characters, still manages to work in past characters so well and with purpose.

I had so much fun reading this book. I loved Toni and her crazy family. Shelly keeps giving us more and more fun characters to learn about and love. I liked that a Reed boy "Ricky Lee" finally got a book.

Great plot, hilarious, and a fun romance. If you have not started the Pride series I highly recommend it. Fun, Hilarious, and Loving Romance.

Pride Series Order by Shelly Laurentston

  1. I'll keep this one in mind for the next time I need a good laugh. Thanks for the review! Adding this series to my werewolf wishlist.

    1. Thanks for stoping bye Carmel. I love her Pride series its great especially after a heavy read. So much fun, laughter and witty humor.

  2. I remember hearing good things about this author! I do like some PNR, as long as the romance isn't such a main focus and the world and all that is developed. I didn't use to like werewolves as much, but they've kind of grown on me!

    1. Candace thanks for stoping bye. The romance is not the main focus. The series has more then werewolves its got a little of each kind of shifter though no bunny shifters yet! Its light, easy, and funny to read. I thoroughly enjoy this series and others that she writes. Hope you give a try some time. Its well worth the read.

  3. Ahh that one was SO fun!! I loved that opening too. What a hoot. I can't wait for the next one.

I love all things Shifter! It's always so hard to choose a favorite, but Jaguars are amazing! Jaguars are the largest of South America's big cats. These beautiful and powerful beasts were prominent in ancient Native American cultures. In some traditions the Jaguar God of the Night was the formidable lord of the underworld.

Terry Spearis one of many authors that writes about shifters. She is also one of my favorites! This month she released Silence of the Wolf "Heart of the Wolf" #13 another great shifter series. Check out my review HERE!

Now onto the GIVEAWAY! For Seriously Shifter Week I'm giving away to one lucky winner a Kindle E-Copy of Jag…

Critical Intelligence had some funny moments to I really enjoyed.  My favorite is the first quote the moment someone learns they are going to be a daddy I had to smile it reminded me of the day our son was born and how my hubby cried and passed out after he was born. ^_^  Check out my review here!

 " Nothing is wrong." Green smiled. "Well, not unless you consider being a father a bad thing."      "Being a father?"       "I'm going to be a ..." Darkness swallowed him whole as he passed out cold. ~ Critical Intelligence by Mandy M…
