Currently I am reading Twilight Hunter (The Execution Underground) by Kait Ballenger. I'll share a few quotes that have popped out at me.

"His thoughts flashed through the night's events, and he frowned.
Mutilated dead girls, a pissed-off werewolf hunter and a naked vixen. Not a good combination." ~ Jace (Twilight Hunter by Kait Ballenger pg. 53)

"You have no idea what it's like to be one of us. How do you know it's a curse? Some think it's a gift." ~ Frankie (Twilight Hunter by Kait Ballenger pg. 69)

"Shane pulled a handkerchief from his pocket. He unfolded the dark blue material, revealing a pattern made up of the constellations. He bent next to the body and used the handkerchief to lift the girl's hand before he glanced up.
David raised a single brow and nodded toward the handkerchief.
A deep blush ran across Shane's cheeks. "The constellations have a lot of meaning in the occult. Besides, my grandmother gave it to me. I have to use it or she'll get her feelings hurt." (Twilight Hunter by Kait Ballenger pg. 84)

"Don't get your panties in a knot. We need to get our shit together first. But we can't talk here. We need to be prepared before we go at him, and because he's a sexual sadist and gets off on all this, it's likely he'll come back here to..." He shrugged.
She walked over to her wooden wardrobe and sifted through the clothes. "To what?"
        Jace sighed. "Flog the bishop."
Her long hair whipped through the air as she spun to face him, gaping like a waterless fish. "You can't be serious?"" ~ Jace/Frankie (Twilight Hunter by Kait Ballenger pg. 124)

I love all things Shifter! It's always so hard to choose a favorite, but Jaguars are amazing! Jaguars are the largest of South America's big cats. These beautiful and powerful beasts were prominent in ancient Native American cultures. In some traditions the Jaguar God of the Night was the formidable lord of the underworld.

Terry Spearis one of many authors that writes about shifters. She is also one of my favorites! This month she released Silence of the Wolf "Heart of the Wolf" #13 another great shifter series. Check out my review HERE!

Critical Intelligence had some funny moments to I really enjoyed.  My favorite is the first quote the moment someone learns they are going to be a daddy I had to smile it reminded me of the day our son was born and how my hubby cried and passed out after he was born. ^_^  Check out my review here!

" Nothing is wrong." Green smiled. "Well, not unless you consider being a father a bad thing."      "Being a father?"       "I'm going to be a ..." Darkness swallowed him whole as he passed out cold. ~ Critical Intelligence by Mandy M…
